Our modern 5-axis CNC machining centre is also available to other joineries and wood-processing businesses. Whether individual preliminary work or entire runs, you benefit from our precision without having to invest in the technology yourself.
Components made to drawing
Send us your drawing or CAD file and we manufacture the components to exact size on our CNC, returning them ready to install – from a single piece to a series.
Contract machining of your material
You supply the timber, we do the machining: cutting to size, milling, drilling patterns and complex 3D contours on five axes. Your material stays with you, the demanding machine work comes to us.
5-axis technology & advice
With our 5-axis machining centre we realise even demanding geometries with maximum accuracy. We are glad to advise you on preparing your data for a smooth process.
For architects and planners
What is on the drawing has to be buildable in the workshop and fit on site. That is exactly where we work — as the executing trade that reads the planning.
Why go straight to the workshop that builds it
Shop drawings from the people who build it
From your specifications we develop the workshop-ready detail: profile sections, samples, connection details. Where a detail cannot be built as drawn, we say so before fabrication and propose a solution that keeps your intent. This is where schedules and variation orders are decided.
One hand from survey to installation
Whoever takes the measurements also builds and installs. There is no interface between workshop and site where responsibility gets lost, and no second appointment to settle what was already agreed at the first.
Listed buildings: the documents the authority asks for
Profile sections, material specifications, samples — heritage authorities want specifics, not declarations of intent. We supply them from ongoing practice instead of leaving you to extract them from the trade. Our work includes Hambach Castle, Heidelberg Castle, Villa Köbling in Speyer and the von Winning and Reichsrat von Buhl wineries.
What belongs in the tender documents
From experience with tendered lots: these details decide whether bids are comparable — and whether variation orders follow.
Basis and completeness
German joinery work follows ATV DIN 18355, glazing additionally DIN 18361. The bill of quantities needs timber species and grading, finish including the coating system, ironmongery, for windows the type and division of glazing bars, plus the connection details. Whatever is left open here becomes a variation order on site.
Product-neutral, but measurable
Name a make only with the addition "or equivalent" — otherwise the award is open to challenge. Equivalence should then rest on verifiable values such as Uw value, sound insulation class or coating build-up. With only a product name, the later argument is about interpretation rather than quality.
Dates that belong in the construction schedule
Site measurement is only possible once the shell and screed are done, for interior work once the windows are in. Sample approval belongs early in the schedule, not shortly before installation. And coating needs drying time that no rescheduling recovers.
With listed buildings, agree before tendering
The heritage consent determines what may be tendered at all — profile, material, glazing bar division. Agreed only afterwards, the bill of quantities is waste paper. When in doubt ask early: more can be settled before the tender than after it.
How to get a quotation
Send us the bill of quantities as a PDF; drawings are welcome as CAD files (DWG or IFC), and we return the shop drawings in the same format. We price tendered bills of quantities under the German VOB item by item.
