For architects
and planners
What is on the drawing has to be makeable in the workshop and has to fit on site. We work in exactly that space between.
What you get from us
We are the executing contractor, not the designer - and we still understand the design. From your specification we develop the workshop detailing, supply section profiles and samples, point out details that cannot be built as drawn, and propose alternatives that preserve your intention. That is the part of the collaboration where programme and variations are decided.
For tenders we provide the information you need. Ask early if in doubt: more can be settled before a tender than after it.
Heritage work as a focus
On listed buildings much depends on liaison with the authority, and that calls for concrete documents rather than statements of intent - section profiles, material specifications, samples. We bring that from current practice. Among the buildings we have worked on are Hambach Castle and Heidelberg Castle, the Villa Koebling in Speyer and wineries such as von Winning in Deidesheim and Reichsrat von Buhl.
For you that means we know what is usually required and supply it - instead of your having to extract it from the trade.
Depth of manufacture in house
From survey through manufacture to installation, everything stays in one hand. A 5-axis machining centre is available for runs and demanding geometries, and the hand work needed for carving and restoration is available too. Having both in the same business is the practical advantage on projects that combine historic fabric with modern elements.
If you are planning a project in the Palatinate or the Rhine-Neckar area and are looking for an executing joiner with whom details can be settled in advance, give us a call.
Workshop detailing
Workshop-ready development of your design, with section profiles, samples and notes on critical details.
Heritage liaison
Documents for the heritage authority and agreement of the execution before work starts.
Contract joinery
Series production of repeating components on the 5-axis CNC, installation by our own team.
Frequently asked questions
The workshop-ready development of your design, yes - including section profiles, details and samples. The scheme and consent design stays with you; we work to it and flag points that would cause problems in execution.
Yes, that is everyday work for us. We supply the documents usually required - section profiles, material specifications, samples - and agree the execution before work starts. The earlier we are involved, the less has to be changed later.
The focus is the Palatinate between Neustadt, Landau and Speyer. On contract and heritage work we operate beyond that - Heidelberg Castle is one example. Enquire with your location and we will say whether it makes sense.
Yes. That ranges from pure CNC contract machining to your data through to complete execution with survey and installation. Which makes sense depends on the project and on which trades you have otherwise placed.
